Mary Quijano - Author and Educator
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Quijano went to Honduras after college as a Peace Corps Volunteer. You can find some of her adventures as a volunteer in Gather the Fruit One By One, 50 Years of Amazing Peace Corps Stories.
Returning to the United States, she continued to teach in elementary schools in San Antonio, Texas. She found such delight and success with riddles in her classroom that she decided to share the fun and value of riddles in her book Hooked on Riddles.
She is currently working on a children’s book and looks forward to the day when she can read her very own children’s books in schools.
